Accommodation

Immersed in nature, off the grid and completely private.

Tygerhoek’s accommodation comprises a luxury lodge and two simple cottages, which are placed remotely apart
to ensure a private and secluded stay.
Each house, surrounded by indigenous trees and succulents, has beautiful views of the mountains and plains.
They are all built of local stone, blending unobtrusively into the landscape.
The interiors are tastefully decorated with luxury linen in the bedrooms,
and an interesting array of quirky collectables and antiques giving the houses their Karoo character.

All the accommodation is self-catering, with supplied bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchens and outdoor braais (barbecues).

The units are all completely off-the-grid with power for solar lighting only. There is no 220V electricity. The stoves, fridges and geysers all work off gas. Due to the remote location of the reserve, there is no Wi-Fi and no cell signal reception.

As this is a wilderness area, we unfortunately cannot allow pets of any kind onto the reserve.
